Innovative fitness tracker addresses major issue in tracking.

Polar Loop: the new fitness tracker without monthly subscription

In June, Polar began to leak its wearable Polar Loop. Like the similar fitness tracker Whoop, the idea was simple: a fitness tracker that you can wear 24 hours a day without the constant distractions of various beeps, sounds, and notifications. After all, who needs another screen?

Features and availability

Polar claims that its new tracker can monitor heart rate, sleep, and daily activity while remaining discreet on the wrist. You can check your stats from the smartphone app. Of course, the list of available features is lower than what you would find in a subscription-based fitness tracker system, but some prefer simplicity.

The Loop is available in three colors, including Night Black, Greige Sand (beige), and Brown Cooper. It is available for pre-order on the Polar website for $199.99. The company also offers replaceable bands for $29.99, available in the mentioned colors, along with Ocean Blue as a fourth color option.
