Google Unveils First Pixel Watch at Made by Google Event
During today’s Made by Google event, the tech giant introduced its inaugural Pixel Watch. This smartwatch is the first of its kind developed and manufactured by Google, running on the WearOS platform and compatible with Pixel and Android phones. It boasts a sleek curved design, customizable bands, and seamless integration with Google apps such as Maps and Gmail. The starting price for the Pixel Watch is $349 for the WiFi-only model and $399 for the LTE version. Additionally, purchasers will receive three months of YouTube Premium and six months of Fitbit Premium.
Optimized Health and Fitness Tracking Features
The Pixel Watch comes equipped with built-in Fitbit technology, making it ideal for tracking health and fitness goals. Users can expect features like heart rate monitoring, ECG tracking, and sleep analysis. The watch provides regular wellness reports, including workout readiness scores, health metrics, and sleep quality assessments, to assist individuals in optimizing their exercise routines and sleep schedules.
It is worth noting that fall detection will be included in a future software update scheduled for 2023. The Pixel Watch is now available for pre-order and will hit retail shelves next week.
