Tesla’s Struggles Continue in EU Markets
Elon Musk’s Tesla faced another setback in the EU markets in April, with sales dropping significantly in Germany. According to a report from Germany’s road traffic authority, Tesla sold only 885 cars in the country, down 45.9% from the previous year.
Challenges Amid Global Protests
Recent protests against Tesla and Elon Musk, due to his ties with the Trump administration, have impacted the company’s sales worldwide. Musk’s political involvement and controversial endorsements have stirred up negative sentiment, leading to a decline in Tesla’s profitability and market share.
In contrast, Chinese EV company BYD has seen a surge in sales, with 1,566 vehicles sold in Germany in April alone. This highlights the growing competition in the electric vehicle market and the challenges faced by established players like Tesla.
