Samsung is rumored to be making significant changes to the middle child in the Galaxy S family next year. A leak from WinFuture provided possible camera specs and other details related to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup, which has not been officially announced yet. According to the leak, the S26 Ultra will come with a 200MP wide lens and a 50MP telephoto lens, similar to the S25 Ultra. However, the real highlight is the potential changes for the S26 Plus, the middle model in the lineup.
According to the leak, Samsung is considering replacing the Plus model with the next super-thin Galaxy Edge phone. The S25 Edge, launched earlier this year, features an extremely thin form factor that sets it apart from the traditional Plus models. The middle phone, whether it’s a Plus or an Edge, is rumored to have a new 50MP ultra-wide lens, bringing it closer to the features of the Ultra models.
In summary, Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy S-series phone for next year could see a new form factor and an improved camera setup. More details are expected to be revealed in January.
