NYT Connections Analysis: Clues and Solutions for October 5

What is Connections?

Connections is the latest New York Times word game that has become a social media hit. Created by associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu, this daily word game challenges players to group four words that share something in common. Each puzzle features 16 words split into four categories, and players have up to four mistakes before the game ends.

Players can rearrange and shuffle the board to make connections easier to spot, and each group is color-coded for difficulty. Like Wordle, results can be shared on social media.
