Connections
is the latest word game from the New York Times that has taken the public by storm. Similar to Wordle, Connections challenges players to find common threads between words. The game resets daily, with each new set of words becoming more challenging. To help you navigate through the puzzles, we’ve put together some hints and tips.
What is Connections?
The newest daily word game from the NYT has become a social media sensation. Created by associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu, Connections tasks players with grouping four words that share a commonality. Each puzzle contains 16 words split into four categories, such as book titles or country names. Players must correctly identify the connections to progress, with only four mistakes allowed before the game ends.
Players can manipulate the board by shuffling words around to make connections more visible. Additionally, each group is color-coded based on difficulty, ranging from yellow to purple. Just like Wordle, players can share their results on social media.
