Connections
is the newest word game from the New York Times that has been gaining popularity. Similar to Wordle, Connections resets daily with increasingly challenging word sets. If you need help with today’s puzzle, you can find the solution at the end of this article. But if you prefer to solve it on your own, keep reading for some hints and tips.
What is Connections?
The latest daily word game from NYT has become a social media sensation. Created by associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu, Connections tasks players with grouping four words that share a common thread. Each puzzle contains 16 words split into four categories, such as book titles or country names. Players must find the unique connection among the words to progress. If a set is correctly identified, those words are removed from the board.
Players have up to four mistakes before the game ends, and they can rearrange the board to aid in finding connections. The puzzles are color-coded based on difficulty, from yellow (easiest) to purple (most challenging). Like Wordle, players can share their results on social media.
