Connections is one of the most popular word games from The New York Times that has captured the public’s attention. The game revolves around finding common threads between words, similar to Wordle. Resetting after midnight, each new set of words becomes more challenging. To help you overcome the hurdle, we have provided some hints and tips.
What is Connections?
The latest daily word game from NYT has become a social media sensation. Associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu is credited with creating the game and bringing it to the Games section. Playable on web browsers and mobile devices, Connections tasks players with grouping four words that share something in common.
Each puzzle features 16 words split into four categories, such as book titles or country names. Only one correct answer exists among seemingly fitting words. Players can remove correct words from the board and have up to four mistakes before the game ends. Board shuffling is allowed to aid in spotting connections, with color coding indicating difficulty levels.
