According to Apple’s suppliers, the iPad Pro 2024 was initially scheduled for release in March but has been postponed several times. However, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg has hinted that Apple has finally set a release date for the new iPad Pro.

The iPad Pro is expected to be launched on May 7, as Apple announced a livestream event scheduled for that date. This aligns with Gurman’s report that the iPad Pro will be announced during the week of May 6. Despite the delays from March to April, it appears that Apple is now targeting an early May release date for the iPad Pro 2024.

The iPad Pro 2024 is rumored to feature OLED displays, which may significantly increase the price compared to previous models. An X leaker suggested a starting price of $1,499 for the new iPad Pro, almost doubling the current prices. However, other sources indicate a more modest price increase, with predictions of $999 for the 11-inch model and $1,199 for the 13-inch variant. While still expensive, these prices seem more credible than the initial forecast.

The new iPad Pro is also rumored to have slimmer bezels, allowing for users to enjoy more screen real estate.
