A new version of iOS 17 is on the way, and it brings a special treat for iPhone 15 Pro users. The update, iOS 17.2, is set to enhance the telephoto camera on the Pro models, promising faster speed when capturing distant objects. While the iPhone 15 Pro cameras were already impressive, we can’t say no to a little improvement, right? Even though it may not beat the Pixel 8 Pro’s zoom lens just yet, we’ll take what we can get. Maybe next year will bring even more surprises.
iOS 17.2 to deliver new feature for iPhone 13 and 14 users
In addition to the camera boost for iPhone 15 Pro users, iOS 17.2 also has something in store for iPhone 13 and 14 owners: Qi2 charging. This latest wireless charging standard allows for faster charging up to 15W, double the previous limit of 7.5W. Previously exclusive to iPhone 15, Qi2 charging is now available for iPhone 13 and 14 users, giving them the option to use third-party chargers and say goodbye to the Apple Tax. It’s a nice little holiday gift from Apple, don’t you think?
