This platform generates Audio Overviews featuring two AI voices discussing source material in a podcast format, providing a personalized learning experience akin to your favorite podcasters engaging in a casual conversation.
Enhanced User Control and Interaction
Google recently moved NotebookLM out of experimental mode and introduced new features to empower users. With the ability to guide the conversation by providing instructions before generating a custom podcast, users can now tailor the content to focus on specific topics or adjust the expertise level accordingly. By hitting “Customize” next to the “Generate” button, users can personalize their learning experience.
Furthermore, users can now continue to interact with their custom Notebook while the Audio Overview plays in the background. This feature allows users to query sources, receive citations, and explore relevant quotes without interrupting the audio playback, offering a seamless learning experience.
Google has also introduced NotebookLM Business, a paid version with premium features tailored for businesses, universities, and organizations seeking enhanced learning solutions.
