Hey there! If you’re used to checking the weather on Google Maps, I’ve got some news for you.
Google is making a small change to the mobile app – they’re moving the weather info to a different spot. Instead of being in the upper left corner of the map display, it will now be at the bottom of the screen. So, next time you’re scrolling around trying to find a lunch spot, keep an eye out for the weather down below.

This change comes hot on the heels of a recent redesign for Google Maps on iOS, where they trimmed down the number of tabs at the bottom of the screen. Since weather is a relatively new addition to Google Maps, this switch shouldn’t be too disruptive. But hey, better to be informed, right?
