Action movies have evolved to include mid-credit teases and post-credit surprises. The MCU and Fast and Furious franchises have capitalized on this trend, introducing new characters and star-studded cameos. However, Indiana Jones has been a pioneer in this regard. Will audiences have to stay through the credits for the full story in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny?
Director James Mangold has stayed true to the adventurous spirit of the Indiana Jones franchise. Harrison Ford reprises his role as the iconic archaeologist, joined by Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Ethann Isidore on a globe-trotting adventure filled with excitement and Nazi-punching action. Mangold chose not to include any mid-credit or post-credit scenes, so if you’ve watched the credits, you’ve experienced all the Indy goodness that Indiana Jones 5 has to offer.
Staying through the credits is still a great way to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the people behind this two-hour and 34-minute epic of adventure, archaeology, and lore. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is currently showing in theaters.
