Google Rolls Out Gemini 2.5 Deep Think for AI Ultra Subscribers

Google is introducing Gemini 2.5 Deep Think in the Gemini app, expanding its AI reasoning model to Google AI Ultra subscribers. Subscribers paying $250 per month will have access to Deep Think starting Friday, August 1. This model, unveiled at Google I/O 2025, focuses on complex math and coding.

Google’s Advanced AI Model Outperforms Competitors

Deep Think is Google’s most advanced AI model yet, boasting higher reasoning capabilities and the ability to tackle complex problems using parallel thinking techniques. Google claims that Deep Think provides more detailed, creative, and thoughtful responses to prompts compared to other AI models. In tests like Humanity’s Last Exam and LiveCodeBench6, Deep Think outperformed competitors like xAI and OpenAI’s o3.

Google is also set to release the official version of Gemini 2.5 Deep Think, which recently excelled at the International Mathematical Olympiad. The company will offer this version to a select group of trusted testers, including mathematicians and academics, with the president of IMO praising Deep Think’s solutions as astonishing.
