Be Prepared: TikTok is Currently Testing 15-Minute Videos

TikTok Testing 15-Minute Video Uploads

TikTok has confirmed that it is currently testing out the ability for users to upload videos up to 15 minutes long. This new feature was announced after reports from some users who had received notifications about the extended video upload option.

Gradual Increase in Video Upload Length

Originally known for its 15-second videos, TikTok has slowly increased the length allowed for uploads over time. The app first increased the limit to one minute, then to three minutes, and most recently to 10 minutes in February 2022.

These 15-minute videos are currently being tested and it is unclear if they will be made available to all users in the future. However, considering TikTok’s history of expanding video upload options, it would not be surprising if this feature becomes widely available.
