Connections
is the hot new word game from the New York Times that everyone is buzzing about. Similar to Wordle, this game challenges players to find connections between words, with each new set of words getting progressively more difficult. Need some help getting through the puzzles? We’ve got you covered with hints and tips.
What is Connections?
The latest daily word game from the NYT has taken social media by storm. Created by associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu, Connections tasks players with grouping four words that have something in common. From book titles to country names, players must identify the common thread among the words in each set. Get all four words correct, and they’re removed from the board. But make a mistake, and it counts against you—up to four mistakes and the game is over.
Players can manipulate the board to make connections easier to spot, and each group is color-coded for difficulty. And just like Wordle, you can share your results with friends on social media.
