The conclusion of those two episodes left a lingering sense of closure that had viewers worried.
New Episodes Coming Soon
Thankfully, Disney+ has come to the rescue with the announcement of a new slate of episodes set to premiere this summer. However, these won’t be your standard seven-minute episodes. Creator Joe Brumm, in collaboration with Ludo Studios, is offering 20 minisodes ranging from one to three minutes each. According to Disney+’s press release, these “Bluey Minisodes” will showcase funny and heartwarming moments with Bluey and Bingo, delving deeper into their playful interactions and adventures.
This is fantastic news for fans of all ages who enjoy the charming stories of childhood featuring dog sisters Bluey and Bingo, along with their furry friends. And for those eagle-eyed viewers who love spotting the subtle hints and background stories woven throughout the show, these new minisodes are sure to provide even more clues about our favorite canine characters.
Potential for a “Bluey” Movie
Disney has also shared the massive success of the 28-minute episode “The Sign,” which became the most-viewed Bluey and Disney Jr. episode premiere ever, with a staggering 10.4 million views. With the popularity of the show continuing to soar, there is even talk of expanding into longer form storytelling. In an interview with The Guardian, Brumm hinted at the possibility of a Bluey movie, expressing his excitement for the idea of creating something even longer. Could a movie be on the horizon? Only time will tell.
For now, fans can enjoy streaming Bluey on Disney+ and look forward to the upcoming minisodes arriving in July.
