Apple is gearing up for a jam-packed few months ahead. With the launch of new iPhones and other gadgets scheduled for September 9, the tech giant is not stopping there. A recent report from MacRumors suggests that Apple will host another event in November, focusing on their Mac lineup.
According to a reliable source cited by MacRumors, Apple is planning to upgrade all Mac models to the M4 chip, with some models expected to be released later this year. While the event could potentially take place in October, the availability of the new Macs is likely to be in November. Last year, new Mac models were announced on October 30 and became available on November 7.
At the upcoming event, we can anticipate the unveiling of a new entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro featuring the M4 chip, as well as updated 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models equipped with the M4 Pro and M4 Mac chips. Additionally, Apple is rumored to introduce an iMac and a redesigned Mac mini, both powered by the M4 chip variants. These devices are expected to come with 16GB of RAM as standard, with the redesigned Mac mini rumored to have a significantly smaller and possibly more cube-like design compared to its predecessor.
The introduction of the M4 chip was first seen on the iPad Pro launched in May, offering a decent upgrade from the previous M3 chip. However, the capabilities of the more advanced M4 Pro and M4 Max chips remain to be seen.
As anticipation builds for Apple’s upcoming events, tech enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting to see what innovative features and upgrades the new Mac lineup will bring. Apple continues to push the boundaries of technology and set the standard for cutting-edge devices in the industry.
