Apple is taking steps to tackle the annoying issue of spam phone calls. The company has introduced a program called Business Connect, which allows businesses to register their information to ensure that their communication appears consistently across different platforms. For example, emails and phone calls from registered entities will display a company logo, making it easier to identify legitimate messages.
While this initiative may help reduce the number of spam calls, there are limitations to consider. Businesses need to register for Business Connect, and there will always be individuals looking to take advantage of the system. However, as someone who has experienced numerous spam calls in a single day, I appreciate any effort to address this issue.
With Apple’s Business Caller ID feature set to launch next year, hopefully, it will provide some relief for those plagued by spam calls. Topics: Apple, iPhone.
